de Hondenkoekjesfabriek / FCKN BASTARDS (videos)

de Hondenkoekjesfabriek

These Dutch art hooligans use their abandoned milk processing plant head quarters as a launching point for numerous assaults on the eyes and ears of Europe. Emanating from the de Hondenkoekjesfabriek collective (which translates as "dog cookies factory") you can expect everything from chaotic guerilla noise installations to ribald trash performance culminating in a uniquely hillarious statement that is as much Dada-esque nonsense as it is aggressively anti-commercialistic squatter rebellion.

Haunted Tube / PDM (videos)

Princess Dragonmom

Princess Dragonmom was formed in 1993 in michigan, usa and quickly evolved into a performance based loud volume concept act using everyday household objects and harsh electric sound. PDM transforms any space into a surreal and wonderful playland for all to enjoy with a few notable examples being: "your birthday" where audience members were handed nice gifts by a huge noisy cupcake; "fire truck"where the audience was invited down a rickety staircase into a very small room lit by one small lightbulb and as the noise began the room went dark (at least until the explosions went off); annual event "the haunted tube" where visitors crawl through a maze of loud horrible sounds while being scared by monsters and violence. Current members include Davin B, Warn Defever, Ronald Cornelissen and Mog.

The Haters

(performance videos)

GX Jupitter-Larsen formed seminal noise act The Haters in New York in 1979 but the Haters were based in Vancouver in the early 80's before relocating to Denver, CO. Still active to this day, in 2005 the Los Angeles Weekly named The Haters the best noise act of the year. Their video contribution will include an intense set of live performances which took place in circa 1991 San Francisco, CA.

LoVid (videos)

LoVid

LoVid (Tali Hinkis and Kyle Lapidus) scrambles ordinary TV output into hyperkinetic audiovisual abstraction using homemade electronic devices, repurposed analog toys, and low-res video loops. In these, LoVid focuses on the materialization of glitch video and electric signal into fixed objects.
